Required skills include: administration of blood and blood products, central line/implanted line care, feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), neonatal dosage calculations, NICU Level III and IV care, placement and management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP). • Procedures and equipment include: CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, Conventional Vents, Blood/Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket, Feeding Tubes, PICC/Central Lines, and Syringe Pumps.
