p>Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor degree in Industrial Automation, Engineering, Computer Science or MIS • Experience with PLC programming using Rockwell Logix and GE RXi Platforms • Experience with GE Proficy Suite - Machine Edition, Cimplicity, iFix and Historian • Experience configuring OPC Servers, Historians • Thorough understanding of Industrial Communication Protocols - Modbus, DeviceNet, Profinet • Experience with SQL Server databases • Experience successfully managing technical projects through the entire project cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, commissioning, and closing phases • Formalized training and/or education in Industrial Automation, Engineering, Computer Science or MIS • Experience implementing software used in 24x7 shop floor environments. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Ability to develop and integrate software packages and solutions for industrial controllers • Ability to establish strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical members of staff • Ability to be hands on with MOM software configuration, scripting and database connectivity • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format, with both vendors and internal customers • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment • Self-motivated and driven to accomplish company goals.
