Sets and clears tables, supports residents in making meal selections, serves food and beverages accurately and promptly, and uses patience, reassurance, and appropriate cueing to promote comfort, dignity, independence, and enjoyment at every meal. Monitor the dining environment for signs that a resident may need additional support, including coughing, choking, difficulty swallowing, refusal to eat or drink, unusual fatigue, distress, or a significant change in intake, and immediately notify the appropriate Wellness team member.
