Ability to obtain licensing within one year as asbestos Management Planner, Inspector and O&M Supervisor to inspect City of Lubbock facilities for asbestos containing building materials (ACBM), manage the City of Lubbock Asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team, provide asbestos awareness training for custodial staff, maintenance staff, or any other employee that may disturb ACBM and manage asbestos removal projects by overseeing the consultants and contractors. Ability to: Manage capital projects from inception to completion; Prepare and implement a budget for multiple projects; Develop remediation cost analysis; Prepare and maintain records and documentation; Communicate effectively with others; Work effectively under pressure and time constraints; Work cooperatively with the public, bidders, contractors, other departments, and the City Council.
