Required Skills: IV starts, blood draws from central lines, trach care, PEG, NGT care, colostomy/ostomy care, wound care, chest tube management, surgical site care, C-Collar application, abdominal binders, restraints. For the lower patient ratio, RNs are expected to assist with patient care tasks, including turning patients, baths, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
