CITY OF ELKHART – JOB DESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT: Lerner Theatre POSITION: Stagehand DIVISION: Lerner Theatre STATUS: Part-Time CATEGORY: Hourly, $14.13 FLSA: Non-exempt REPORTS TO: Technical Coordinator JOB SUMMARY Stagehands perform technical tasks and render services with respect to safe unloading and loading of trucks, equipment set-up and break-down, operation and repair of theatrical lighting, television lighting, sound systems, house fly and rail systems, hoists, scenery, properties, staging, risers, screens, projection equipment, and various duties.
