Overview:

Qualifications:
Required:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent OR a minimum of 2 years related technical experience</li><li>Available to work all shifts</li><li>Ability to  read Basic blueprints and interpretation for layout, forming & shipyard procedures</li><li>Ability to perform and use basic math and measuring tools to perform initial layout and verification of final dimensions</li><li>Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Construction background and/or relevant experience or training</li><li>Experience in steel forming and steel cutting</li><li>Hand/Power tool usage(grinders, sanders, hand torches, general tools)</li><li>Shipfitting, Carpentry or Metal Fabrication</li><li>Lifting and Handling (Overhead Cranes, Forklifts etc.)</li><li>CNC experience with cutting/forming equipment. </li><li>Experience with bending steel plates, oxy propane or plasma cutting equipment and band saw cutting operations</li><li>Vocational, Technical and Community Colleges or Apprentice programs</li><li>Military</li></ul>

Seeking a Quality Control Manager for a leading steel and aluminum manufacturing company. Responsible for implementing quality assurance policies and systems, monitoring quality assurance processes, and ensuring that quality standards are met.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Executes and implements the administration of quality assurance control policies and practices in accordance with stated company objectives.</li><li>Implements the internal quality program and interfaces with vendors, suppliers and customers on quality issues.</li><li>Assesses the quality of material delivered by vendors.</li><li>Executes and maintains a strong quality assurance culture. Collaborates with managers to identify quality concerns.</li><li>writes and revises quality procedures as required.</li><li>Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
