design, review, and recommend approval of plans and specifications for building projects; oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, applicable laws, and generally accepted engineering practices; serve as project manager for assigned projects from planning through closeout; coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, contractors, agency personnel, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle; prepare and manage project documentation including advertisements, solicitations, contracts, pay applications, inspections, bid openings, and closeout materials; lead project meetings, provide updates to affected stakeholders, and support effective communication throughout each phase of work; conduct site visits, inspections, and construction administration activities to support successful project delivery. Preferred but not required: E.I.T in the State of South Dakota; or, Professional Engineer in the State of South Dakota; Licensed Architect in the state of SD; or, Architectural Intern in the State of South Dakota; or, Architectural Graduate.
