Requirements:</div><ul><li>Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Class A CDL from the state in which the driver resides and the address on the CDL must match the current address.</li><li>Must have attended an accredited and FedEx-approved truck driving school, run 360 hours behind the wheel with 96 hours observed by a trainer to have successfully completed the ELDP (Entry Level Driver Program). Once drivers have completed the program, they will be classified as regular drivers and no longer have to ride with a lead driver.</li></ul><div> Accidents:</div><ul><li>No more than one DOT Preventable accident in the last two years.</li><li>No more than 3 incidents in the last three years and can not have more than 3 incidents and accidents together in the last 2 years.</li><li>All rear-end-at-fault accidents are a one-year DQ.</li><li>Major DOT Preventable (jackknife, rollover) must be five years old.</li></ul><div> Moving Violations:</div><ul><li>No more than 2 in the last 2 years except major moving violations which must be one year old (this applies to personal and commercial).</li><li>Major moving violations are reckless, 15+, handheld, following to close, etc.</li><li>30MPH over must be 5 years old</li><li>Can not have more than 4 jobs in the last year.</li><li>Cannot have been terminated from their last job due to safety and can only happened once in the last 5 years.</li><li>NO DUI in the last ten years and never in a commercial vehicle.
