The Special Education Teacher: provides academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a school setting; monitors student academic and functional achievement through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods; observes and records student progress daily; develops and monitors student's IEP, reports, goals, objectives, attend IEP meetings, establish, maintain, and work toward student goals as outlined in the IEP; manages student behavior through individualized motivational systems, S.M.A.R.T. Operating acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, outpatient facilities and ambulatory care access points, an insurance offering, a physician network and various related services located in 40 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
