The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, a quality control mindset, and a project management/critical path-oriented approach to all projects. This role is a critical field leadership-facing position, with the opportunity to foster ongoing relationships and identify opportunities for RCM improvement.Perhaps the most important skill in this role is excellent communication skills and an ability to manage up. This role is critical to the organization and will be involved and visible at all levels, internally in the corporate office and externally to the field.<h3>Your Impact:</h3>Responsibilities for the Manager of Revenue Cycle Performance:<ul><li>Effectively engage with field leadership to identify pain points in performance and follow through with execution remediation plans with Revenue Cycle Operations teams.</li><li>Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports and presentations on financial status, opportunities, and risks.</li><li>Accurately gather, synthesize and communicate timely relevant information that impacts revenue cycle metrics to improve financial and quality performance.</li><li>Develop insightful findings, provide recommendations, and help facilitate discussions.</li><li>Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about nuances with our business partners and healthcare changes.</li><li>Conduct special ad hoc analyses to uncover potential gaps in regional performance.</li><li>Work with the team to analyze data groups to assist in the development and implementation of process improvement strategies.</li><li>Maintain department standard of quality metrics related to claims processed, claims rejected, claims denied, collection volume and rates relative to fee schedules, patient payments, account write-offs due to contractual issues and collections problems.</li><li>Aid in creating and monitoring models that connect strategies to measures of performance that ensure successful reporting of revenue cycle accounts receivable.</li><li>Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analyses and reporting of financial metrics to field leadership.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3>To be formally considered for the role, the following requirements must be met:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University, or related field or equivalent experience.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of revenue cycle client facing experience.</li><li>3-4 years of RCM consulting experience.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).</li><li>Strong understanding of revenue cycle operations.</li><li>Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.</li></ul><h3>Additional Success Factors:</h3>The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:<ul><li>Ability to review and manage project-based assignments.</li><li>Quantitative, with strong attention to detail and high degree of comfort with large data volumes.</li><li>Ability to quickly summarize data findings and effectively communicate and/or present results internally, externally, and to management.</li><li>Goal oriented forward thinker.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).</li><li>Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.</li><li>Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.</li><li>Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.</li><li>Continuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.</li><li>Focus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.</li></ul><h3>Compensation:</h3>Pay range of $75,000 to $110,000 + annual bonus: up to 10% of base pay depending on bonus criteria.
