Duties include clinical, administrative, either direct or through delegated authority are the following: Provide comprehensive care to include diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and education of patients with Gastroenterology conditions in the outpatient and community living center settings. Safely perform GI procedures including but not limited to EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, hemostasis of all types for variceal and non-variceal bleeding, stricture dilation, pH studies, PEG insertion and after care, paracentesis with ultrasound guidance, etc.
