Job ID: 6227 Date Posted: February 4, 2026 Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking an Information Security Assistant to support cybersecurity continuous monitoring, cybersecurity engineering, and cybersecurity supply chain risk management for secure systems at our location in Huntsville, AL. This position is open for an undergraduate/graduate student, and the duration of this role is expected to be from hire, while enrolled at least part-time, up to one semester after graduation.   Responsibilities include supporting recurring continuous monitoring tasks, such as weekly system auditing, completing system configuration scans/checklists, cybersecurity tools monitoring, and other tasks as needed. Required Qualifications:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must be a student that remains enrolled at least part-time (excluding summer semester) in a regionally accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program with at least one year of school remaining</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must be able to work onsite for 15-20 hours per week during the school year and possibly more during the summer, depending on operational needs and the student’s availability</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must be consistently detail-oriented and organized</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must be a problem-solver and have a solutions focused mindset</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to work well individually and as part of a team</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Interim Secret security clearance to start, and ultimately obtain a final Secret security clearance</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Technical skills and/or experience with various cybersecurity tools with strong preference to include use/deployment of Logrythm, McAfee/Trellix ePO suite (DLP, Application Control, RSD, etc.), Active Directory, Nessus, STIG Viewer, SCC SCAP, DISA STIGs.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience interfacing with military or Government personnel</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Participation in a school project or other experience related to implementation of NIST SP 800-53 controls </li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Participation in a school project or other experience related to Cybersecurity-Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM)</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Enrollment in a computer engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or other closely related technical degree program</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Related industry certifications, such as Security+, Network+, ISC2 CC, Microsoft or Linux based certs</li></ul>Student Scholar Program: SDL provides unique opportunities for student employees to develop real-world experience and knowledge beyond the classroom through our Student Scholar Program. Overview:
The Nurse Tech works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Nurse Tech include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The Nurse Tech must exhibit the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple, priorities and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Qualifications:
Education: High School/GED required. Candidates must meet the following criteria:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Completed a minimum of 2 semesters of clinical experience within an academic nursing program.</li><li>Completed the following educational courses and clinical experience: Fundamentals of Nursing and Pharmacology including medication administration.</li><li>Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Associate Degree, Diploma or Baccalaureate Professional Nursing Program.</li><li>Nursing graduates pending completion of NCLEX are also eligible.</li></ul>License/Certification: BLS required before conclusion of orientation period. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent preferred.
