The student worker assists with office tasks, student engagement activities, and program events that help TRIO students succeed in college, graduate, and transfer to four-year institutions. This position also provides the student worker with valuable professional experience in communication, organization, and leadership.Essential Duties & Responsibilities<ul><li>Assists in welcoming all visitors to office</li><li>Assists in filing, photocopying, and other office tasks, bulletin boards, etc.</li><li>Assists in preparing for events/ trips, and help clean up after events/ trips to get back into working order; may be asked to attend events during work hours</li><li>Assists students in the computer lab, Moodle, and other resources we offer in our office space.</li><li>Assists in keeping the office a nice, clean, tidy, and, welcoming environment for our students to feel comfortable</li><li>Answers phones and take messages for staff</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study through Financial Aid</li><li>Must be a current student at Craven Community College</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<ul><li>Good communication and organizational skills</li><li>Reliable and responsible</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li></ul>Benefits are not available for temporary positions.01 Are you a current Craven Community College student, enrolled in a curriculum program?
