SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Student Support Services Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, and organizational support to the district's Student Support Services department. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. A good candidate has experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students, a strong foundation in Spanish language and culture, and the ability to design creative, age-appropriate lessons that promote language acquisition through songs, stories, movement, and hands-on activities. They demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, communicate effectively with students and families, and are committed to supporting diverse learning styles while cultivating curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in every child. This position reports to the Head of Lower School and collaborates closely with the World Language Department.
