The RTOC Coordinator collaborates with RTOC nurses, physicians, nursing units, Case Management, referring and accepting facilities, transportation providers, and other key stakeholders to support timely, accurate, and coordinated patient movement, including incoming and outgoing transfer coordination, bed placement activities, and discharge transportation. Responsibilities and assignments may vary based on department priorities, operational needs, shift, staffing, and changes in the services supported by the RTOC.The coordinator receives and processes requests, gathers and documents required information, obtains records, monitors workflow status, and communicates with internal and external partners.
