n1.Manages comprehensive and individualized care for cardiothoracic surgery patients and their families in the inpatient phase of hospitalization and immediate post discharge in the ambulatory setting\n \n2.Completes daily rounds: consults and/or pre-procedure evaluations during weekdays and as applicable, weekends/holidays as determined by specific clinical site and specialty\n \n3.Completes integrated assessments, documents efficient and precise clinical evaluations/plan in the electronic medical record (EMR) \n \n4.With the collaboration of faculty or by following established clinical Guidelines and Protocols, orders additional labs and/or diagnostic studies or consults as deemed appropriate \n \n5.Performs, interprets and /or communicates results of diagnostic tests following established clinical guidelines and scope of practice in the inpatient and outpatient setting \n \n6.Communicates to patient's comprehensive care team results of labs / diagnostic studies following established clinical guidelines and scope of practice, regarding abnormal findings in the evaluation of the patient\n \n7.Develops a comprehensive individualized plan of care for CT Surgery patients, which includes teaching, discharge planning and necessary referral to other members of the health care team as necessary\n \n8.
