Manage the sales tax reporting process, including the monthly sales tax submission to the Utah State Tax Commission, supervision of accounting interns that assist with the sales tax reporting process, regularly claiming sales tax refunds, and troubleshooting sales tax issues and questions that arise. Support Purchasing and Accounts Payable processes, serving as both tax subject matter expert and operational leader, especially for independent contractor status review and determinations, as well as being a resource for documentation supporting tax withholding and reporting for payments to foreign vendors.
