Key Responsibilities: Manage and review complex individual, fiduciary (Form 1041), estate (Form 706), and gift tax (Form 709) returns Advise HNWI clients on estate planning, trust structuring, charitable giving, and wealth transfer strategies Lead client engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring high-quality service and compliance Provide oversight, mentoring, and technical training to tax staff and seniors Liaise with attorneys, investment advisors, and fiduciaries to coordinate tax strategies Stay current on federal and state tax laws impacting estates, trusts, and wealthy individuals Identify planning opportunities and contribute to business development activities Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the go-to tax resource Basic Qualifications: CPA required; MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation strongly preferred Minimum 57 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on HNWIs, estates, and trusts In-depth knowledge of federal and state fiduciary and estate tax laws Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to clients Proven leadership and client management abilities Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar) Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead complex engagements involving HNWIs, estates, trusts, and gift tax planning.
