JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide student-centered, differentiated lessons, units, and projects that align with the MA CTE Metal Fabrication and Joining Technologies Frameworks Employ various instructional techniques to engage all learners Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established district curriculum goals; establish and communicate clear objectives to students for lessons, units, labs, and projects Maintain timely record keeping via PowerSchool (student information and grading system) and electronic student competency tracking Maintain up-to-date files, including student records Maintain classroom management through an understanding and adherence to accepted school policies Provide assistance to students serving make-up or detention Participate in district professional development activities and school improvement initiatives Participate collaboratively in the development of curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment Provide after school assistance to students per contract and as needed Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement Foster competition and achievement by supporting SkillsUSA activities Other duties as assigned by the Vocational Director COMPENSATION: In accordance with the BHEA Contract - $66,019.43 to $119,127.78
