The Engineering Manager, Customer Data has: • Expertise in GCP or AWS, modern cloud-native architectures, and enterprise data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake), with strong data modeling and scalable architecture design capabilities • Proven experience implementing and operationalizing CDPs, aligning with marketing technology ecosystems, business objectives, and customer data regulations • Deep knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance, with the ability to define data activation frameworks enabling real-time personalization and customer engagement • Strong expertise in enterprise integration patterns and API management using platforms such as Mulesoft, SAP CPI, Apigee, or AWS Gateway to enable secure, scalable data exchange • Solid grounding in modern software development (Java, Python, JavaScript), CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, JSON, and contemporary development workflows supporting data-driven services • Hands-on experience with observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, SumoLogic), strong focus on cloud data security, and the ability to partner with analytics teams to deliver measurable, business-driven data products • A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzias Values and Business and People Leadership principles • The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes • The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team • A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value.
