When you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include: Utilizing the AERO Reading Curriculum to address student needs in reading; Tutoring a minimum of 20 students per semester, with at least 4 sessions per week; Internalizing, planning and delivering AERO lessons to students in small group tutoring sessions; Attending AERO training to increase expertise in the platform; Maintaining data, including lesson plans, session notes, and progress reports; Tailoring lessons to meet individual students' needs; Assisting students in connecting reading skills from AERO to classroom instruction; Administering and scoring benchmark assessments to measure progress; Collaborating with campus leaders, Manager of Grant-Funded Intervention, and Children's Learning Institute to provide reports on student progress; Participating in research activities to evaluate the effectiveness of the program; Supervising students in instructional and non-instructional settings, including building relationships and managing student behavior; Engaging in campus activities and following all campus norms and expectations; Additional duties as assigned.
