This includes forensic photography, evidence collection, maintaining chain of custody, providing court testimony when required and serving as a liaison for emergency department healthcare teams, detectives, attorneys, crisis center advocates, child advocacy center personnel and child protection workers. Responsibilities: The Pediatric & Adolescent SANE Nurse is a credentialed SANE P/A who provides emergent medical and forensic evaluations for children and adolescents who are the suspected victims of sexual abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, or other forms of child maltreatment.
