Your Job Georgia-Pacific is now hiring a detail oriented, resourceful, critical thinker for an Engineering Administrative Assistant role supporting our Containerboard paper mill operations in Toledo, OR!Our Team Georgia-Pacific Toledo is a producer of brown paper used to make cardboard and is a leader in recycling in the Northwest. The Toledo Mill is located within a 10-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean. Many outdoor activities are available near the mill including fishing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and boating.What You Will Do<ul><li> Performing administrative duties for the Engineering department (filing, distributing mail, ordering supplies, organization, etc.) </li><li> Maintain accurate data entry, specific to manufacturing parts lists and inputting them into the relevant software for accurate record keeping </li><li> Assist with project management documentation, to include input and updates of project information to ensure accuracy and appropriate progress through the system </li><li> Create and upkeep a schedule relaying all contractor activity including project scope, days on site, teams of collaboration, etc. </li><li> Build relationships and collaborate with departments across the mill as well as with key contractors and vendors to keep information up-to-date </li></ul>Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) <ul><li> Experience in an administrative or clerical position </li><li> Experience using Microsoft Office Suite [Microsoft Word (creating documents), Excel (creating spreadsheets and utilizing formulas) and Outlook (scheduling meetings and creating, sending, responding to email)] </li><li> Willing and able to work in manufacturing, adhering to safety standards and wearing required personal protective clothing. </li></ul>What Will Put You Ahead <ul><li> Experience in a manufacturing, design engineering and/or construction environments </li><li> Experience with CMMS systems, project portfolio management software or construction management software </li><li> The ability to manage detailed administrative work with a high level of accuracy while effectively communicating across multiple teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and timely execution </li></ul>At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
