Duties: Performs manual tasks involved in the maintenance and construction of streets, walkways, parks, lawns, ditches, storm sewers, and/or sewage plants, either on the concrete crew, asphalt crew, jet truck or camera crew, building, repairing, clearing, and televising streets and drainage. Asphalt crews repair streets by installing asphalt and clean storm sewers, drains, culverts other duties: Shovel and rake asphalt until smooth, oil and temper and prep street for asphalt overlay.
