The Lead Technologist will also perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging including a variety of procedures (invasive and non-invasive) ranging from a variety of biopsies, routine OB/GYN, vascular venous and arterial, abdomen, small body parts to intra-cavity and color Doppler. (20%)* The Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, performing and communicating findings of diagnostic examinations, responsible for daily operations of the department, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA).
