Notify the attending physician, nursing leadership, and resident representative, as appropriate, regarding:Sudden or significant changes in wounds or skin conditionAdverse responses to treatments or medicationsUnavailable, delayed, or refused treatmentsTreatment errors that may present a significant riskDifficulty obtaining prescribed medications, equipment, supplies, or services. The Treatment Nurse provides effective and efficient wound care and other prescribed treatments in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, facility policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
