The exact activities change based on the garden’s needs, but can include washing produce, harvesting, weeding, seeding, and transplanting. Our garden is located near the Willowbrook neighborhood of Los Angeles. To maintain the privacy of the garden we will reach out to you with the address after registration.Our event occurs most Saturdays from 9-2. Minors are welcome when accompanied by a guardian. This is a part-time, 20 hour/week position reporting to a Senior Pastor. The pay rate ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is passionate about the spiritual development of young people and who can join Aldersgate UMC as we make new disciples of Jesus. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated Christian with strong leadership, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills who loves students and has the ability to work effectively with teenagers and parents.
