The Special Program, Evening and Weekend Recreation Coordinator position involves monitoring the Center During the day, evening and weekend hours; opening, closing, and securing the building; performing a variety of recreational, custodial, and clerical tasks; assisting building patrons, instructors, and volunteers; assisting Director/ Program Coordinator with special projects such as coordinating special programs or events’ and provide back-up coverage/support to Center 50+ staff in varied programs, with primary assignment being evening and weekend programming and rental support. Four years or more of advanced leadership or instructional experience, or specialized education/certification, in recreation, education, sports, gerontology, or related field, with demonstrated program development experience and training working with youth and adults in a recreational setting.
