CareerLink Adjuncts must have deep knowledge in some if not all of the following areas: Mechanical systems (bearings, gears, drives), Electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) & automation, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Blueprint reading, precision measurement, and Welding & fabrication (often crucial). Key Areas of Instruction: Instructors teach students to maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and apply knowledge as well as provide hands on instruction & skill in the following areas: Mechanical/ Electrical Systems, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC Programming & Automation, and Welding & Machining.
