Accounts Receivable Specialist – Temp

CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for our Manhattan based SaaS company. This individual will be responsible for managing billing, invoicing, collections, and cash application activities while helping maintain healthy cash flow, ensure billing accuracy, and resolve customer payment issues. Experience with SAP is preferred, and strong Excel skills in a Mac environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, billing, collections, and cash application.
• Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances to improve collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts, investigate unapplied cash, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare AR reports, collection metrics, and aging analyses for management review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to ensure accurate billing and contract compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience.
• Experience in a SaaS, technology, subscription-based, or recurring revenue environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, and reporting in a Mac environment.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hour
