Description

Location: Madison Heights.

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:

•            Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.

•            Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.

•            Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

•            Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.

•            Makes travel arrangements for senior staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.

•            Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.

•            Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.

•            Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

•            Provides information by answering questions and requests.

•            Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating

needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.

•            Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

•            Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives

•            Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing  recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)

•            Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes

•            Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations

•            Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database

•            Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

•            Responsible for working with new hires in the pre-boarding and onboarding process

•            Completes employment eligibility documentation, including I-9’s and E-Verify in a timely manner

•            Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

•            Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex

and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR contact

Tracks evaluation progress and provides reminders and assistance completing documents

•            Strong interpersonal, business presentation, and written communication skills.

•            Work with minimal supervision, manage multiple projects and deadlines, show attention to

Detail.

•            This individual will be responsible for data entry, management, and audit for sensitive information related to our employees

    • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

Education and Experience Requirements:

•            High school diploma or equivalent education required

•            3 years of administrative assistant experience

•            Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook,

Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat

•            Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance

Job Type: Full-time – in person

Salary: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
