Position Summary:

Dishwasher / Prep Cooks will wash dishes and utensils, prepare ingredients for cooking, and ensure the kitchen is clean and well-stocked while following safety and quality standards.

Duties include dishwashing, food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

This is a union position.

Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106

Schedule: Current shifts available may vary, Monday - Sunday between 8am - 8pm. Flexibility required to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food Service: Commercial kitchen dishwashing and/or food industry experience
• Multilingual: Communicates in more than one language

Physical and Working Requirements:

The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the kitchen and storage areas. Frequent positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Dishwashers/ Prep Cooks constantly prepare and handle items and may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving. Dishwashers/ Prep Cooks will utilize various equipment including but not limited to knives and mixers. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person. Additionally, Dishwashers/ Prep Cooks will occasionally work in a walk-in cooler and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises.
