The Job

As Executive Sous Chef at The Corner Store inside The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, you'll play a pivotal role in launching one of the Strip's most anticipated new dining destinations, helping define its culinary vision from the ground up. Leading a passionate team of culinary professionals, you'll bring bold ideas to life, set the standard for excellence, and create unforgettable experiences that captivate guests from the very first service. The Day-To-Day

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including budget management, scheduling, inventory control, and team leadership.
• Execute menu strategies that drive profitability while aligning with Catch Group and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas' refined standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards, fostering a pristine and efficient work environment.
• Lead, coach, and develop a dedicated culinary team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
• Work closely with the service team to deliver seamless, memorable dining experiences, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Support the Culinary Leadership in executing the property's food and beverage initiatives, policies, and training programs.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of culinary trends, menu offerings, and kitchen equipment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience working in a culinary environment as a Chef preferred
• Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
• Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant or previous experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant preferred
