Human Resources Generalist Job Location:Stockton, California Job Type:Temporary Pay Rate:$24-$25/hour Schedule:Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm Description of Position:Do you have experience as a HR Generalist? Our client is looking for a temporary HR Generalist to cover a leave of absence for the next few months. This assignment has the potential to be extended for the right candidate. The schedule will be approximately 3-4 days per week in the office. We're looking for an organized, detail oriented professional with strong administrative skills and experience using Microsoft Office. Experience with HR software or the trucking/logistics industry is a plus. Job Responsibilities:Distribute and collect new hire paperwork and educate employees on company policies and proceduresConduct employment verificationsCreate and maintain personnel, medical, termination, and DOT qualification filesMaintain employee records and update information in databases and spreadsheetsAssist employees with time clock entries and updates in the Paycom systemTrack and update the DOT random drug screening poolFile payroll, personnel, and compliance documentsAssist with quarterly employee events and annual company functions Description of Company:You will be supporting a well-established trucking company in Stockton, California.
