Late Night Chef

Society Coffee Bar Hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday  5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
 
Society Coffee Bar is looking for a dependable, energetic Late Night Chef to join our team and take ownership of our evening kitchen service.

Our late-night menu focuses on elevated bar food — familiar favorites done really well. You’ll be preparing items such as smashburgers,hotdogs,wings,flatbreads,andothercreativebarbites, withan emphasis on consistency, presentation, and quality.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in the food they put out, and understands the importance of keeping a clean, organized kitchen throughout the night.

Previous kitchen or cooking experience is preferred.
 
 Responsibilities:

•  Prepare and execute our late-night food menu, including elevated smash burgers, hot         dogs, wings, flatbreads, and other bar food
•  Maintain consistency, quality, portioning, and presentation during every service
•  Work efficiently during high-volume and fast-paced periods
•  Keep the kitchen, prep areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized
•  Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures
•  Complete prep, restocking, and closing responsibilities
•  Communicate and work well with bartenders, servers, management, and other team              members
•  Help maintain proper inventory and communicate when ingredients or supplies are             running low
•  Take pride in the details and contribute to an overall great guest experience

What We’re Looking For:

•  Previous kitchen, line cook, or chef experience preferred
•  Comfortable working evening and late-night hours, approximately 5 PM–1 AM
•  Able to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment
•  Strong attention to detail and consistency
•  Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
•  Clean and organized work habits
•  Ability to work independently while still being part of a team
•  Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
•  Passion for making simple food exceptionally well
