The Sourcing Business Development Director is a senior leadership position responsible for driving strategic innovation in third-party solutions development and leading a high-performing team that supports JLL's sales organization. This role requires a visionary leader who can develop and execute complex sourcing strategies, manage stakeholder expectations at the executive level, and deliver sustainable competitive advantages across new business pursuits, client expansions, and renewals. This position offers the opportunity to shape JLL's pursuit sourcing strategy while building world-class talent in a dynamic, client-focused environment. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of leading complex, high-value sourcing strategies that directly contributed to winning competitive bids.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a team of 8-10 world-class sourcing professionals through visible leadership and active career coachingRecruit, develop, rotate, and retain top Sourcing & Procurement talent by analyzing individual strengths and creating actionable career development plansFoster an inclusive and collaborative team culture that delivers sustainable operational excellence across pursuit activitiesActively participate in talent Supply/Demand initiatives through networking, mentoring, and identifying internal and external candidatesStrategic Sourcing & Solution DevelopmentDevelop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies for pursuit activities, effectively managing supplier networks to deliver best-in-class performanceProvide strategic vision for all pursuit-related Sourcing & Procurement aspects, including best practices and innovation that differentiate JLL in the marketplacePartner closely with Sales, Pricing, and Account leadership teams to develop innovative third-party solutions and competitive pricing strategiesPrioritize and manage multiple sourcing initiatives based on pipeline requirements, ensuring optimal resource allocation and accountability for deliverablesStakeholder Engagement & Executive Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Sales leadership, Sourcing & Procurement teams, Corporate Legal & Risk Management, and Finance DirectorsLead and actively participate in strategy sessions with senior client and internal leadership teamsWork directly with executive leadership to manage expectations and ensure alignment between pursuit sourcing strategies and business objectivesEnsure all Sourcing solutions support relevant commercial commitmentsRisk Management & Compliance OversightIdentify risks and opportunities to stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating riskOwn sourcing compliance and controls across all pursuit activitiesEnsure all sourcing technology tools are leveraged effectively across pursuit engagementsPerformance Management & Continuous ImprovementMonitor team performance against established KPIs and communicate results to business leadershipDrive innovation in sourcing processes and programs that create measurable value and competitive positioningBusiness Development SupportDevelop proactive go-to-market solutions that enhance JLL's competitive positioning in pursuitsSupport supply partner growth initiatives and strategic relationship development to expand sourcing capabilitiesRequired QualificationsProven ability to support career development through mentoring and visible leadership5-8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or business development with demonstrated pursuit/sales support successBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferredProfessional sourcing/procurement certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager), or equivalentAdvanced degree (MBA, MS) in relevant discipline is a plusExperience in commercial real estate, facilities management, or integrated facility services industriesDemonstrated success creating high-performing, integrated teams committed to operational and commercial excellenceExperience managing and coaching teams on performance, progress, and developmental goalsTrack record of actively participating in talent management through networking and mentoringAbility to foster inclusive and collaborative team cultureExperience leading client meetings and strategy sessions at senior levelsPreferred QualificationsExperience establishing relationships with Account Directors, operational leads, and Finance DirectorsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence at executive levelsExecutive presence and confidence to lead client-facing meetings and presentationsAdvanced presentation development and delivery skillsProven ability to provide strategic vision and implement best practices and innovationDemonstrated success developing and leading complex sourcing strategies#J-18808-Ljbffr
