Summary

The student office assistant will assist and support the Sr. Administrative Assistant and other personnel within the Division of Research with various duties and daily office responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Greet and assist visitors including Faculty and Staff
  • Perform general office duties such as copying and scanning documents
  • Answer phones, take accurate messages, and direct where appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Minimum GPA 2.5 - First semester students without an established University GPA can be hired on a probationary status, pending their first GPA.
  • Must be available to work in the afternoon.
