The Strategic Sourcing department strives to deliver value, improve financial performance and drive returns for the business in the strategic sourcing of goods and services through proactive analysis and understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), strategic engagement with our internal business partners and external suppliers and by educating the organization in Procurement and Sourcing best practices. . The individual will assist with the day-to-day management of various spend categories such as biology and chemistry services, preclinical sciences, biospecimens, and global regulatory affairs, which includes administrative support, process mapping, building spend reports/ dashboards, supporting or leading RFX’s (Request for Information, Quotation, Proposal, etc.) and managing other projects as needed.
