Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: professional experience in business ownership, business consulting, banking, economic development, or related business fields preferred; ability to work independently while following organizational policies, procedures, and supervisory direction; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information; must have own transportation and meet the requirements to operate a vehicle on official state business; ability to conduct evening and weekend work; ability to travel in-state and out-of-state including overnight stays as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, management, or related field required; Master's degree in business or related field preferred; proficiency in office productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), experience working with entrepreneurs or small businesses and with financial analysis, capital acquisition, or lending preferred.
