Working knowledge of purchasing and procurement practices, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, or MRO environment, with an understanding of indirect materials, maintenance parts, plant services, supplier management, inventory considerations, and procure-to-pay processes. Monitor open purchase orders, backorders, lead times, and critical deliveries; proactively identify and communicate potential supply disruptions and coordinate resolution with suppliers and plant stakeholders.
