This position is responsible for performing ledger operations, analyzing transactions, preparing corrective action plans, reviewing internal controls, and recommending improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. The Accountant III also prepares reconciliations, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, issue papers, and interprets financial and accounting data for program officials, managers, and supervisors.
