Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following: · Master’s degree in Visually Impaired (K-12) Background in visual disabilities, mental retardation, behavior disorders, or interrelated special education, cognitive disabilities, autism, orthopedic impairments, and other sensory disabilities. · Responsibilities include assessing and documenting students' educational needs to develop and implement appropriate instructional plans; developing appropriate instructional materials; integrating assistive technology into classroom activities; and utilizing innovative and research-based instructional techniques and practices.
