ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP):Process vendor invoices, match POs to receipts, ensure proper coding of expenses and ensure timely paymentsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesManage expense reimbursements and corporate credit card reconciliationsMaintain accurate AP records and ensure compliance with internal controlsAssist in maintaining the vendor master file, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with tax requirements (e.g., W-9s, 1099s)Prepare AP aging reports and other financial reports for review by managementAccounts Receivable (AR)Generate, track and send customer invoices in alignment with contractsMonitor collections, follow up on outstanding balances, and support cash flow forecastingReconcile AR accounts and resolve billing disputesPartner with sales and operations to ensure accurate billing informationPrepare AR aging reports and other financial reports to estimate cash inflowsSupport liquidity and cash flow planning, analyze variances between forecasted and actual receiptsGeneral Finance SupportAssist with month-end close activities (accruals, reconciliations, journal entries)Maintain accurate records in the ERP/accounting systemSupport audits and compliance reviewsIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline AP/AR processesParticipate in process improvement initiatives, including system enhancements and policy updatesBasic Qualifications2–4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accountingExperience in a manufacturing, hardware, or technology environment preferredStrong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skillsDetail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills for vendor and customer interactionPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in the aerospace, satellite, telecommunications, or defense industriesProficient in SQL or other data tools for supplier and quality analyticsStartup or fast-paced environment experience a plusAdditional InformationTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
