The position collaborates with SCDC leadership, divisions, institutions, project directors, financial accounting, general counsel, procurement, and external partners to assess funding needs, develop competitive proposals, prepare grant budgets, and ensure timely submission of applications. This position researches and identifies federal, state, and local funding opportunities that align with SCDC's missions, programs and operational needs and develops comprehensive grant proposals, including narratives, budgets and supporting documentation, to secure funding.
