Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: Administering a safety and occupational health program ensuring that safety and health policies, procedures and practices are sufficient to eliminate or control potential hazards; Developing, communicating, and implementing an organizational wide safety and occupational health strategy to prevent accidents, injuries, and resource loss; Conducting surveys, inspections, and audits of facilities, operations, equipment, and programs to determine adequacy to protect the safety of workers, public, environment, and facilities; Preparing clear, concise, grammatically, and factually correct reports that include recommended improvements, findings, root cause analysis, potential hazards, and potential impact to the workplace; Providing training, guidance and awareness to supervisors and employees to reduce risk or injury.
