Some Residential Service Assistant duties include: Facilitate and reinforce skill development in social supports, in areas including food management, self-care preservation/personal hygiene, relapse prevention, medication management, self-care preservation/personal hygiene, money management money, and planned community activities. Since 1952, Horizon House has been dedicated to helping people with mental illness, drug and alcohol addictions, developmental/intellectual disabilities, and homelessness to stabilize their lives and to assist them to live as independently as possible in a community-based setting.
