General Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following, plus one year of experience working with families and young children: Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Child/Human Development, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Education Administration, Sociology, Family Science/Studies, Counseling OR other Bachelor’s degree with three years of experience working with families and young children. First Steps is Missouri’s Early Intervention program that provides support and services to families with children from birth to age three who have developmental delays or disabilities.
