The assistant principal is responsible for ensuring the following duties are effectively carried out: Resolution of Student Discipline Issues: Resolve student discipline issues by conducting investigations, meeting with students, teachers, and parents, reviewing information, preparing all documents and records, and assigning consequences according to the discipline model of the school. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
