Repairs or replaces damaged plumbing fixtures such as but not limited to sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, electronic flush valves and faucets, and drinking fountains or connects them to outlet and inlet pipes by making adjustments to pumps, regulators, and associated piping, threading, bending, or fusion welding pipe either by hand or by use of power equipment, screwing, bolting or fitting gaskets, couplings, traps and valves, soldering, lead wiping, and/or acetylene cutting and welding connections to seal joints where necessary. Miscellaneous: Performs skilled mechanical maintenance work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing and refrigeration control systems by inspecting and testing elements of those systems to locate and diagnose faults and malfunctions, troubleshooting problems, and making adjustments and/or performing required repairs.
